The employee numbers displayed in the bar chart, and the table of financial key performance indicators are determined by a textual analysis of the annual financial statements.
Annual financial statements often include the number of employees in the running text. For example, the text "The company had an average of 77 employees in the reporting year (previous year: 55)," is analysed by our algorithms, which automatically identifies the number of employees.
Since determining the number of employees is notoriously unreliable, the employee number is marked as "uncertain" and it is only available to our Premium Users.
Tip: In case of doubt, the employee number can be checked quickly and easily by clicking on the source, which indicates the source text used.
