Control
Control is a broad relationship category describing situations where a person or company can exercise significant or decisive influence over another company. This influence may arise from ownership, voting rights, parent–subsidiary structures, contractual arrangements, consolidation relationships, profit transfer arrangements, or other legal and economic dependencies.
In North Data, Control is used as an umbrella category for different control-related and group-related relationships, including direct or indirect parent companies, general control, domination, profit transfer, profit pooling, consolidation in a parent company, company lease, general partner roles, and branch offices. Therefore, Control is broader than any single legal form of control and groups multiple types of controlling or economically dependent relationships.
