Why Are Not All Exports Processed Even Though the Daily Limit Has Not Been Reached?

How Does the 24-Hour Export Limit Work, and Why Doesn’t It Reset at Midnight?

How the Export Limit Works

Understanding the Export Limit

The export limit is not based on 10 exports per calendar day but rather on 10 exports within a rolling 24-hour period. This means that the counter does not automatically reset at midnight.

Example of How the Limit Applies

  • If a user has already performed 7 exports the previous evening, only 3 more exports will be available the next morning.
  • New exports will only become available once the oldest exports fall outside the 24-hour window.

Why Was This System Chosen?

Implementing a fixed daily limit is technically challenging, especially due to different time zones. A "day" in Germany, for example, does not necessarily correspond to a "day" in the United States. The 24-hour rolling window ensures that the export limit remains consistent across different time zones.

Solution for Users

If you are unable to reach the maximum number of exports, please check when your last exports were performed. The limit may be due to previous exports still being counted within the 24-hour period.
