Why OHG Partners Are Only Visible to Premium Service Users?

This article explains why information about partners of German OHGs (Offene Handelsgesellschaften) is available only to Premium Service customers and not displayed in the free version of North Data.

What Is an OHG?

An OHG (Offene Handelsgesellschaft) is a German partnership in which all partners have unlimited personal liability for the company’s debts and obligations.
Unlike corporations (such as a GmbH or AG), the personal data of the partners is directly linked to the company’s business activities and financial responsibilities.

Why This Data Is Especially Protected

Because OHG partners are personally liable, their information is considered particularly sensitive.
The display of such data is therefore subject to stricter data protection and GDPR regulations to prevent misuse of personal information.
Personal details such as birth dates or residential addresses are only visible to authorized Premium users with a proven legitimate business interest.
