Which data will be masked and autmatically blacked out?

This article explains, which data is automatically blocked on North Data´s public website.

The following data are automatically blocked on North Data’s public website:

  1. Birth details (the date and place of birth)
  2. Former addresses no longer used as business addresses
  3. Street/house number for registered associations and partnerships
  4. Activities from the distant past:
    1. Legal representation or equivalent activity: 10 years after resignation/retirement
    2. Power of attorney or equivalent activity: Two years after resignation/retirement
  5. Personal shareholding relationships
    1. if they do not establish any liability or control relationships (in the sense of the beneficial owner). This generally includes minority interests in a GmbH(Ltd.) and limited partners in a company with limited liability.

Regarding the classification of personal ownership interests in terms of Beneficial Ownership (e.g., majority stakes), there is an ongoing public debate with different assessments. This data is therefore also blacked out for the time being.

Blacking out of data is automated. However, it cannot be ruled out that in a few individual cases they can still be visible. In such a case, we will promptly comply with your request for blocking or blacking out the data in question.

In the case of a dominant public interest, we reserve the right to revoke the blackening out of data. This includes, in particular, connections with current or past economic crime as well as sanctions.
