The **legal form filter** in Power Search allows you to refine your search by selecting specific legal forms of companies. This feature helps identify relevant companies based on their corporate structure in different countries. ### Using the legal form filter - You can select multiple legal forms to broaden your search. - The dropdown menu is divided into two sections:**Above the line:** These entries represent **legal form families** that are internationally consistent. Selecting one of these categories includes all corresponding legal forms from different countries. For example: - **Corporations** correspond to the following legal forms: - **Germany:** AG (Aktiengesellschaft) - **France:** SA (Société Anonyme) - **Europe:** SE (Societas Europaea) **Below the line:** These entries represent **specific legal forms** that exist in the countries you selected in the **country filter . If no country is selected, all available legal forms are displayed.** ### Practical example If you select **Corporation (above the line)** and Germany as the country, the search will include all companies registered as AG (public limited company). If France is also selected, the search will also include SA (public limited company). If you are looking for a very specific legal form, select it from the options **below the line** to ensure that only companies with exactly that legal form are included in the results. This structured approach helps to efficiently find the right companies and to ensure comparability between different countries.
