Power Search: Event Filter

How to use event filters to specifically search for companies where a specific event took place within a defined period.

The event filter is an essential component of the Power Search.

Example events include: New registration, insolvency, liquidation, management changes, name changes, capital, address, legal form, statutory, registration of a trademark, registration of a patent, and others.

To add an event filter, click on the button "+ Event Filter" and select the event type from the drop down menu. You can also enter a "Start date"  and/or "End Date." At least one of the fields must be filled.

If the "Start date"  is left blank, then the search will retrieve all information available until the end date:

e.g., Start date = "  " and End date = 2020-01-01, then the search will retrieve all the information available until 2020.

If the "End date" is left blank, then the search will retrieve all information available until now. At least one of the boxes must contain an entry.

e.g., Start date = 2018-01-01 and End date = "  ", then the search will retrieve all the information available from 2018 onwards.

Multiple event filters can be used at the same time, but only one event type at a time. For example, one filter for insolvencies and one for management change.

In this video, we focus on the Power Search and how you can use the available filters to find those companies which match your criteria.
